Current work
I've received a Developing Your Creative Practice Grant from Arts Council England to further develop my work with and for older dancers in the East Midlands entitled 'Generate' This work will take place at the end of 2024 and into 2025. I'm actively looking to make links with venues, programmers and facilitators at this time to deepen this research and trainingDuring this time I am continuing to work with
Movement for All and
Nottingham Movement Collective to embed older person's practice in the region.I am also facilitating the 'Let's Dance' project I've founded in Jigsaw Homes across Gedling borough and as part of Handmade Theatre's National Lottery Funded outreach project in care homes
I have also received funding from the Dancer's Career Development Fund and a bursary place from CALM Studios to undertake my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training throughout 2025I am proud to be starting work with The Spark Arts, Leicester on their Small Wonders project and coordinating the AYUP art club in Alfreton, Derbyshire
